Where are we?
We are located at 22645 East County Road 1050N, Ashmore, IL 61912-9225. This is about 1 mile West of the town of Ashmore and about 7 miles East of Charleston, IL. We are in the Central Time Zone. If you get lost just ask someone, most are familiar.
The AE Crew
Hailey, Abbi, Robbin, Ashley, Holly, Teri and Madison all have one thing in common, their love for Ashmore Estates. They will take you on a tour of the location as well as answer any questions you might have. They have had their own experiences in the building and on the grounds, just ask them.
Private Overnight Investigations
Normally held from 7pm-10am. We start with a historical tour of the building. You are then on your own for the rest of the night. The total cost is $600 for up to 12 people. Each additional person is $50. A deposit of $250 must be made to reserve the date. The balance is then due 4 weeks prior to the investigation. You will have use of the bunkhouses. Each has 4 beds, heat, AC, TV, and a chair. The larger has a sofa and table with chairs. You must furnish your own bedding and smoking and/or vaping is not allowed in the bunkhouses. There is more information about the bunkhouses below. We do not have an age requirement on investigations.
Public Investigations
Check the calendar and the flyers listed below for your best option. Cost is $55 per person from 7pm-2am and we only sell 12 tickets. You can extend your stay until 10am with renting a bunkhouse. Bunkhouse will accommodate four people. Each person staying must have a general admission ticket but only 1 bunkhouse ticket is needed. You must furnish your own bedding for the bunkhouse. PUBLIC EVENTS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE ON THE DATES WE HAVE SCHEDULED AND FLIERS ARE SHOWN BELOW OR ON THE CALENDAR PAGE.
We do not have an age requirement on investigations.

Daytime Investigations
Starting at 11am with a historical tour of the building. Then it is yours until 6pm. Cost for Daytime is $350 for up to 12 people. Additional charge of $30 per person over 12. Deposit of $250 to hold date and balance due 4 weeks prior to investigation date. Paranormal activity is not discussed unless requested. We cannot say you will experience anything paranormal during your short time on the tour, but we cannot say you won't either. We do not have an age requirement on investigations.
Tours/Photo Shoots
A tour of the building is 2 hours long or use your time for a photo shoot. The cost is $125 and will allow 7 people in your party. Over 7 is just $15 additional per person. We do not start any tours past 4:30pm. Paranormal is not discussed during the public tours until after the history tour, if asked. Photos shoots for senior pictures, Halloween, or any other occasion are always a great time with so many photogenic spots in the building. We do not have an age requirement.
What else can we offer?
The building has been used for anything from weddings to horror movies. If you are needing a location to shoot an indie film reach out to us. Want to be married in an interesting place, we are the one. If you are just looking for a place to do something unusual we would love to be considered. We can even supply the minister for your wedding or extras for your movie.
Bunkhouses
We have three bunkhouses you may use while visiting the property for an overnight investigation. Each has four beds, TV, heat, and AC. The large one also has a couch, additional chairs, and a table and chairs. You must furnish your own bedding in all bunkhouses. Smoking/vaping is not allowed in any of the bunkhouses. If you do you will be asked to leave, with no refund.

Suicide Prevention Awareness 2026 at Ashmore Estates
MARK YOUR CALENDAR APRIL 10TH & 11TH.
In April 2020 I wanted to put together an event for suicide awareness. Due to covid, we could not accomplish that. Ashley and I talked about this and decided to proceed with it for 2026. Joining us for this event will be Dustin Pari, Lauren & Tim Maile, Jessica Potter, and Dana Stricker. We will have a gallery reading on Friday night and an investigation on Saturday night. Vendors will be present during the day, and speakers will be there on both days and speaking on Saturday. All proceeds, after expenses, will go to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Vendors will be present through the day and there is no admission charge to see them or any of the guests/speakers we have coming. We have/are reaching out to counselors that are willing to take their day to speak to those that might be need someone to talk with. There will not be a charge for this. If you are interested in becoming a vendor check out the Eventbrite page and grab a spot. There are maps of where the spaces are. If there is a particular space you want to be sure it is not taken.
